In a bizarre partnership that challenges conventional expectations, the game developer has revealed an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Revealed

According to the official statement, "A strange confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where rumors of forbidden practices and terrifying metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The storyline presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine sect.

The mission focuses on "bizarre experiments and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Transformations

The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview ends with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
